#Tienda 0.8.3 getting close - we need your help!

Tienda 0.8.3 is ALMOST ready for use.

Our developers have been working on a number of significant fixes to make 0.8.3 a great release (and getting VERY close to 1.0).

If you have an account on the projects.dioscouri.com site, please help us by spending a few minutes to install the latest pre-release version and test out the bug fixes.

If you don't have time to test, or don't have a test server, watch for the 0.8.3 release to come soon!

Happy 2012 (The 2011 party is now officially over!)

We hope you all had a great end of year time of celebrating with friends and family (and getting all those 'we need it done by January 1' projects completed!).

The Dioscouri staff enjoyed some great times connection with family and friends during the holiday season and we've officially recovered from all the parties. So now back to work.

And it's a BUSY time ahead!

We've got a lot of things ahead in 2012. The obvious projects include moving Tienda to 1.0 and getting our extensions to J2.5 compatibility. We also have a number of other projects in store for the new year.

One thing that you'll see starting now is more updates from the team to you.

For those who have joined us on projects.dioscouri.com (the home of the developers - where you can follow along with all the activity on our community projects) you have seen the real-time updates of the progress first-hand. However, we realize that many may not feel comfortable getting involved in an 'SVN' (if you don't know what that is - you probably don't want to), and others just don't have time to read every ticket posted (esp. on days when there are 30+ ticket responses). So one of the things we'll be doing is providing a quick update on some of the development activities.

We've got a LOT of other things planned for this year that will help you get to know the Dioscouri extension better, get to know the Dioscouri team better, and get some cool ideas that you might use in your own Joomla site.

Watch for updates in the next few weeks about ways you can easily choose what types of info you'd like to get (we don't want to send you stuff that doesn't interest you).
